Why we are here...

Victoria's Women in Construction Strategy

Despite positive growth being made throughout many industries, employment trends and workplace culture in the Building and Construction Industry haven’t changed for nearly 40 years. That is why the Government funded the development of Building Gender Equality: Victoria’s Women in Construction Strategy 2019-2022.

Why Choose Us?

WIC implements a strategic approach which applies to the first 6 months of engagement. It provides new entrant or inexperienced workers exposure and some experience with key trades and activities being undertaken on site, along with training in machine and plant operation involved in these activities.

The Pathway Plan is a simple guide for building skills and can be adapted to the client or to project needs with training outcomes that in turn reflect the client and / or project requirements. The Pathway Plan’s purpose is to provide the worker with better insight and greater industry knowledge to help them determine the path they wish to take.
